Corydalis curviflora var. rosthornii Blue Heron | Blue-flowered, deer resistant Corydalis is the plant for cool shade. The leaves are a bluer shade of green and it features a lovely fragrance. Corydalis like evenly moist soil and may go dormant in the heat of summer. They are wonderful for edging shady borders and walkways. |

‘Blue Heron’ was discovered in China by Dan Hinkley and has large, gentian-blue flowers that float atop stunning red stems. It may bloom all spring and summer in zones 6 - 8.
